When this pandemic hit, however, we had to make some changes to our travel plans.

We decided to spend December in Florida, since we wanted to take the opportunity to take in the sights without all of the tourists. We’ve been able to visit some amazing places here, like Key West, the Everglades, and Disney World.

Of course, there have been some challenges to traveling during COVID-19. We’ve had to wear masks everywhere we go, and we’ve had to be more careful about social distancing. But overall, we’ve still been able to have a lot of fun and make some great memories.

Here are some of the things we’ve learned about traveling during COVID-19:

  • Be flexible with your plans. Things change quickly, so it’s important to be able to roll with the punches.
  • Do your research. Before you go anywhere, make sure you know what the COVID-19 restrictions are.
  • Be prepared. Bring masks, hand sanitizer, and other supplies with you.
  • Be respectful of others and be mindful of your surroundings. We may not all agree on the causes and the protocols, but there’s a lot that we still don’t know for sure.

We’re grateful that we’ve been able to continue traveling during this time. We know that not everyone has been as fortunate, and we’re thankful for the experiences we’ve been able to have.

Christmas in Atlanta https://seekyourepic.com/christmas-in-atlanta/ Sat, 26 Dec 2020 20:31:00 +0000 https://seekyourepic.com/?p=37 Merry Christmas from Atlanta!

We had a wonderful Christmas in Atlanta this year, even though it was a little different than what we’re used to. We started our day with a few mishaps, but we were able to laugh them off and make the best of it. We ended up spending Christmas Eve in a hotel room, but my husband decorated it for me and the boys, and we had a great time singing Christmas carols and watching Christmas movies.

On Christmas Day, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Garden. It was a bit chilly for us Californians, but the garden was still beautiful. We walked around and explored the different gardens, and we even saw some snow!

We’re so grateful to have been able to spend Christmas together as a family, even though it was a little different than what we’re used to. We’re making the most of our time in Atlanta, and we’re looking forward to exploring more of the city in the coming days.

Here are some of the highlights of our Christmas in Atlanta:

  • Spending Christmas Eve in a hotel room and decorating it with my husband.
  • Singing Christmas carols with the boys in the hotel room.
  • Watching Christmas movies in the hotel room.
  • Going to the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Christmas Day.
  • Seeing snow in Atlanta!

We’re so thankful for all of the blessings we have this Christmas. We’re grateful for our family, our health, and our home on the road. We’re also grateful for all of the friends we’ve made along the way.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Here are some tips for spending Christmas on the road:

  • Be flexible with your plans. Things don’t always go according to plan when you’re traveling, so it’s important to be able to roll with the punches.
  • Stay connected with your loved ones. Technology makes it easy to stay in touch with family and friends back home.
  • Make the most of your surroundings. There are so many beautiful places to visit during the holidays, so take some time to explore.
  • Most importantly, have fun! Christmas is a time to celebrate with the people you love, so make sure to enjoy every moment.

A Long Road Ahead https://seekyourepic.com/a-long-road-ahead/ Sun, 20 Dec 2020 19:56:00 +0000 https://seekyourepic.com/?p=33 We’re back on the road after a short break in Flagstaff, AZ. We had a great time visiting with our friends, who are also full-time RVers. We met them in September when they were just starting out, and it’s so cool to see how far they’ve come in such a short time.

We’re headed east now, and we’re excited to explore new places and meet new people. We don’t have any set plans, which is a little scary but also kind of freeing. We’re just going to see where the road takes us.

It’s been a little bit of an adjustment to go from having our calendars filled out months in advance to having nothing but open road ahead of us. But we’re starting to get used to it, and we’re really enjoying the freedom.

We’re not sure where we’ll end up next, but we’re excited to find out. We’ll keep you posted on our adventures!

In the meantime, here are a few things we’ve learned about full-time travel:

  • It’s important to be flexible and adaptable. Things don’t always go according to plan, so it’s important to be able to roll with the punches.
  • It’s important to have a strong support system. We’re lucky to have a great network of friends and family who are always there to help us out.
  • It’s important to stay connected with the people you love. We use technology to stay in touch with our family and friends back home, and we make sure to visit them as often as we can.

Full-time travel is an amazing adventure, but it’s not without its challenges. But if you’re up for the challenge, it’s an experience that you’ll never forget.

We’ll see you on the road!
